Nagisa Shiowatari

Gender: Male

A marriage between Ryuunosuke and Nagisa was arranged by their two fathers who were longtime friends. Nagisa is deeply in love with Ryuunosuke but Ryuunosuke refuses, at first saying she can't marry another girl and then being off-put by Nagisa's intense advances. Nagisa is a voracious eater and a champion sumo wrestler, even stronger than Ryuunosuke.

Nagisa and his father died a year before meeting Ryuunosuke, both dying of overeating as they try to perfect sea urchin shaved ice for their seaside restaurant. However, Nagisa gained physical form again from a legendary sea urchin, which he uses to pursue Ryuunosuke.
